Day-to-Day Itinerary
We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. From exploring historic landmarks to tasting delicious local cuisine, each day is packed with adventure and excitement. Join us as we take you on a journey through some of the most fascinating destinations in the world.
Focus: Arrival and initial city exploration.
Arrive at Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) and transfer to your hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring the city’s historic heart, from the grand Plaza Mayor to the bustling Gran Vía. In the evening, immerse yourself in Spanish culture with a traditional tapas crawl in a historic neighborhood like La Latina.
Night Stay: Madrid.
Transport: High-speed train (~2.5–3 hours)
Focus: Transfer to Andalusia and car pickup.
Take a morning high-speed train from Madrid to Sevilla. Upon arrival, pick up your rental car and settle in. Spend the afternoon exploring the magnificent Plaza de España and taking a relaxing stroll through the adjoining Maria Luisa Park.
Night Stay: Sevilla.
Focus: Discovering the heart of the Andalusian capital.
A full day to explore Sevilla’s landmarks. Visit the stunning Alcázar of Seville, a royal palace of Moorish origin, and the immense Seville Cathedral. In the evening, experience an authentic, passionate Flamenco show in its birthplace, the traditional Triana or Santa Cruz districts.
Night Stay: Sevilla.

Time Taken: ~1.5 hours drive, plus sightseeing
Focus: Sherry tasting and equestrian art.
Drive to Jerez de la Frontera, the home of sherry. Visit a classic sherry bodega for a tour and tasting, and consider a visit to the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art. In the afternoon, you can explore the ancient port of Cádiz and its bustling central market.
Night Stay: Jerez area.
Distance Covered: ~100 km
Time Taken: 3–5 hours with stops
Terrain: Scenic, winding mountain roads.
A scenic drive through the famous “Route of the White Villages.” Stop to explore whitewashed towns perched on hillsides and consider a visit to a traditional olive oil mill to learn about local production. The day ends in Ronda, a city dramatically set across a deep gorge.
Night Stay: Ronda.
Distance Covered: ~180 km
Time Taken: ~2.5 hours drive
Focus: Ronda’s history and transit to Granada.
Spend the morning in Ronda, taking in the views from the iconic Puente Nuevo bridge. You can also visit one of Spain’s oldest and most renowned bullrings for a sense of its history, before taking the afternoon drive to Granada.

DAY 7 – Granada: The Alhambra & Tapas Culture
Focus: Alhambra and Granada’s historic quarters.
The day is dedicated to visiting the magnificent Alhambra, a breathtaking palace and fortress complex. (Note: Tickets must be booked well in advance.) Explore the Nasrid Palaces and Generalife gardens. In the evening, explore the Albayzín quarter and experience Granada’s unique tapas culture or relax in a traditional Arab teahouse (tetería).
Night Stay: Granada.
DAY 8 – Granada to Cordoba
Distance Covered: ~200 km
Time Taken: ~2.5 hours drive
A comfortable morning drive north to Cordoba. After checking in, spend the afternoon exploring the city’s historic center, including the charming Jewish Quarter (Judería) with its famous flower-filled patios, and the impressive Roman Bridge.
Night Stay: Cordoba.
DAY 9 – Cordoba & Return to Madrid
Focus: Mezquita-Catedral and return to the capital.
The morning is reserved for the main highlight of Cordoba: the incredible Mezquita-Catedral, a former grand mosque famous for its forest of columns and striped arches. Afterwards, drop off your rental car and take a high-speed train back to Madrid for your final night.
Night Stay: Madrid.
DAY 10 – Departure from Madrid
Focus: Airport transfer.
Enjoy a final Spanish breakfast before transferring to Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) for your departure flight.

We plan for all stays and meals. We arrange, if required, for accomodation on a twin-sharing or single basis, Inner Line Permits and associated fees, a basic First Aid Kit for fixed departures, certified guides and instructors including NOLS-certified guides, mechanic support throughout the trip.
Exclusions
5% GST, personal expenses, insurance, fines or servicing costs, activities additional to what has been planned for, extra costs arising from delays or breakdowns, and anything not specifically included as per customized final plan.
